1. Eat well
Eating has been known to make us happy. Stick to the foods which lift your dopamine like omega 3 rich foods (fish, coconut oil, tuna), folic acid rich foods (spinach & avocado), bananas & of course chocolate
2. Hydrate and get enough to drink
Green tea is a mixture of caffeine & theanine, both improve your mood and balance your body hormones and state.
3. Be careful what you eat and drink
Depression can make you eat too much or too little, so you shouldn’t give in to that feeling and try to maintain a healthy diet. Eat what you like only when you want to.
4. Attend group sessions
These sessions are helpful and supportive as you let out all the stress and share your troubles with others
5. Fill your life and your family’s with joy
Allowing those you love to take part in your life gives you a sense of importance and value as you have plenty of care and affection to give and you need what can get.
6. Try Chinese therapy (Shiatsu)
Shiatsu mainly depends on pressure points around your body. Stimulating the right points induce endorphin secretion which gives a sense of happiness and relaxation. Such therapy is only practiced by experts.
7. Do plenty of Yoga
Yoga helps you let out all the negativity and reconnect to your positive inner self.
