1.      Walk every day for 30 minutes. You can also do some low impact exercise which would help after labor
2.      Eat big low calorie meals which make you feel full without increasing your weight, such as vegetable soup, salads or fruits. But stay away from high calorie fruits like mangoes, dates and grapes. Oats are considered one the best full meal low calorie cereals
3.      There’s a rumor going around that eating much helps you secrete more milk. The only thing overeating does is increase your weight. So, you should stick to a healthy balanced diet during lactation to supply your body with the nutrients it need to produce milk for your baby
4.      Whenever you're stressed, that affects your hormones and cortisone is secreted, which makes you crave food and so increase your weight. So try to stay away from stress as often as possible.
5.      Stick to foods high in proteins and low in fats such as fish and egg whites. These meals make you feel full for a longer time as proteins take a while to digest
6.      Stay away from fast foods, fried meals, fizzy drinks and sweets as they all contain high calories and don’t satisfy you easily
7.      Don’t eat unless you’re really hungry, and don’t drop any main meals. All you need to do is monitor your daily intake of calories.
8.      Be sure to have your breakfast as it is the most important meal of the day, which helps you avoid fast foods and other harmful snacks during the day.
